Parks

There are 10 national parks in Hungary, 5 are considered as IUCN Category II, 5 as Category V areas (but in fact all of them is category V)

Aggtelek National Park (along the border with Slovakia)
Balaton uplands National Park (north of the lake Balaton) -> excellent wine!
Bükk National Park

There are plenty of other protected areas in various categories such as landscape protected areas and nature conservation areas
The uniqueness of Hungary's protected areas is the protection of the Pannonian biogeographical region of the European Union

There is an official webpage run by the tourism board
but there are also committed tour operators. However most of these companies are offering ecotours outside Hungary, but might be a good reference point when requesting information
