Fluker Post = Community-based environmental monitoring

Kudos Martin Fluker

The Fluker Post research project is a method of wiki-monitoring the visual condition of tracks and trails over time by having park users, land managers and the researcher take repeat digital pictures from a fixed "Fluker Post"

Buzzword Bingo

We first heard about this project in 2011. In 2013 we've decided to include 'Fluker Post' as one of the year's buzzwords.

Hello viewers of Fluker Post presentations... This repeat-digital-photography-wiki-monitoring system has been running for a couple of years now and the prsentations have received a total of 3,296 views here on Slideshare to date (July, 2010). This is great! My hope is to build a community of people interested in being part of this environmental care project. There is a Facebook Fluker Post site that has a small but growing community already. Please feel free to become a friend. In the meantime, what I am really interested in is your FEEDBACK. Please feel free to post a message here on the wall on things like: What do you think of this project? Can you suggest any improvements? Would you like to be involved in setting up further Fluker Post sites? What dont you like about the project? Please let me know. All the best, Martin Fluker.
