outbounding: how do we make events more engaging?

Eventbrite - - is a free event registration service. Publish a custom event page in minutes, promote your event with handy tools and start accepting online registrations to your great event

Tip: Once you've published your free online event registration page, we give you all the tools you need to promote your event online and it's all totally free! The only time you ever get a bill from Eventbrite is if you sell tickets, in which case we ask for a small and well-deserved fee.

To get started, first sign up for a free Eventbrite account or log in to your existing Eventbrite account and create an event which can take as little as three minutes!

Even though your event is free, one of the first steps in setting up online registration for your event is to create a free ticket type. (If you're collecting registrations rather than selling tickets, you can change the terminology on your event page to reflect this!)

Once you've created your ticket type(s) and published your event, your attendees will be able to easily register for your event online. (You can always edit your event page, though, even after you've published it!) The experience is smooth and easy.

Billing FAQ:
I thought the attendee / ticket buyer was paying the fee. Why am I receiving this invoice?
We sent you this invoice to collect the Eventbrite Service Fees paid by your attendees for the tickets you sold. When using a third-party payment processor (such as PayPal, Google Checkout, or or an offline payment method, you receive all payments directly into your account. This includes the Eventbrite Service Fee that your attendees paid (whether the fees were passed on to your attendee or included in the ticket price).
Learn more about Eventbrite's invoicing system.
When is my payment due?
Your payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. The invoice due date is clearly stated next to the Pay Now button when viewing your invoice on the invoices section of My Account.

Zapier is a tool that automatically exports your Eventbrite attendees when they RSVP and order tickets for your events.

The magic happens via "Zaps", task automations that run in the background. They shuttle data from Eventbrite to any of more than 500 web apps automatically. That isn't limited to attendee info, either; new events and organizers can also be exported.

You can visit Zapier to build a custom Zap for your next event, or dive in with one of these popular use-cases:

Save new Eventbrite attendees to a Google Sheets spreadsheet

Rather than constantly exporting CSV files, use Zapier to automatically add new attendees to a Google Sheets spreadsheet. Once you set up this Eventbrite-Google Sheets integration, new attendees from that point forward are automatically added to your spreadsheet.
Note: This Zapier integration doesn't import already registered event attendees to your Google Sheets spreadsheet—only new attendees after you've set it up.

How It Works

  1. Zapier keeps an eye on your event's attendee list
  2. When a new attendee registers, Zapier adds that individual's info (customizable) to a new row in your Google Sheets spreadsheet

What You Need

  • Eventbrite account with live event
  • Google Sheets account
